· 1 year agoNo update yet. I am trying to get access to the electrical room at the base at the tower. The first step is to diagnose the issue. It may be something simple or require a new webcam (~$1k). I need to get access to the room and find someone with a laptop and basic networking experience to help. I'm hoping to not have to visit.

· 1 year agoBeen viewing this cam since it was a single frame image in it's old location. Felt spoiled having it stream in pretty good def to YT. Often shared it with friends back East when we're chatting on the phone. *thumb* Really feeling like I lost the view out of one of my best windows... *frown* If it goes live again, I'll be dang glad, if not, thnx for all the years, I have appreciated your efforts!! · 1 year agoBy they I guess you mean me, and I'm not sure. First thing will be to figure out what is wrong with it. I'm not sure the bwd wind community uses the webcam any more so it's hard to justify putting much time or money into it. Also, I'm in Vic so it's an effort to try and fix from here. It was a nice view though.

· 1 year agoDef benefits the city, I agree! I can possibly swing by to do stuff there or try WSF24/7 as well. As to suzayne, you can designate a donation to a cause I'm pretty sure.....and/or post happy notes more often :) -

Thanks. I’ve been in Mexico since mid-Nov so I just like to have some glimpses from home once in a while. :)

· 1 year agoTook a quick look. Camera and cable are intact. That's about all I had time for today.
I think the city should sponsor this cam as it benefits them more than bwd. Though I'd be happy to see it at CB or CC too.
