Do others have issues with pushing the foil aggressively upwind at speed and suddenly it feels like your foil just blows out??

I have heard air can make it down the mast and cavitates the foil.

Wondering if there is anything I can to reduce this from happening so much...

I've been on all of them. I personally prefer the 1050 but it's like it says, high performance speed aka not terribly forgiving'ish.
The 1150 is limited in its range, it doesn't take much to be overfoiling on it.

The one who ran me over is part of the VI Kayak club. Older guy w money, not skid camping up north main.

Is there some kind of law that tells Kayak surfers it is illegal to surf around other people. After getting hit and runover by one in the surf, I'm out for at least a month+ past the two weeks I've already been out and i'm bitter.
Also, the Oilers are gonna make a run for the cup this year right?
